How to report a repair

what repairs am i entitled to?

If you are a tenant you are entitled to a number of repairs inside your home.
Repairs carried out by the council

Under your Tenancy terms and conditions, the Housing department has aresponsibility to carry out certain repairs to your home. Other repairs are your responsibility.

Below are lists of the main categories of repairs, showing who is responsible and some additional works that we do for tenants aged 60 or over and tenants with certain disabilities. Please note the list does not cover all items and is for guidance only.

We will also carry out certain repair items on a discretionary basis where applicable, this is stated in the list below.
