rent sub-accounts debts
If you still owe money on a previous tenancy, you have been paid too much Housing Benefit or we were awarded court costs as a result of legal action, you need to pay these extra debts.
We will not include these debts on your main rent account. We will set up a sub-account and attach it to your main rent account.
This means that although you may have a clear main rent account, there may be other housing debts that you still owe. These debts will be shown separately on any rent statements that we send you. Please contact a Local Service Centre, our Contact Centre on 020 8430 2000 or your Rent Service Officer if you have any questions about these extra debts.
